योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-71, verse-46

संसारकारणमितः स्वयं चेतो विचारयेत् ।
जीवोऽन्तःकरणं चित्तं मनश्चेत्यादिनामकम् ॥ ४६ ॥
saṃsārakāraṇamitaḥ svayaṃ ceto vicārayet ,
jīvo'ntaḥkaraṇaṃ cittaṃ manaścetyādināmakam 46

46. From this perspective, the mind (cetas) itself should discern the cause of transmigration (saṃsāra). The individual soul (jīva), the inner organ (antaḥkaraṇa), intellect (citta), and mind (manas) are its names, among others.
