योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-11, verse-38

यस्मादनन्तसंरम्भा जागत्यो दुःखभीतयः ।
चिरायान्तर्दहन्त्येता विना युक्तिमनिन्दिताम् ॥ ३८ ॥
yasmādanantasaṃrambhā jāgatyo duḥkhabhītayaḥ ,
cirāyāntardahantyetā vinā yuktimaninditām 38
38. yasmāt anantasaṃrambhāḥ jāgatyaḥ duḥkhabhītayaḥ
cirāya antardahanti etāḥ vinā yuktim aninditām
38. yasmāt aninditām yuktim vinā etāḥ anantasaṃrambhāḥ
jāgatyaḥ duḥkhabhītayaḥ cirāya antardahanti
38. Because these unending agitations of worldly existence (saṃsāra) and the fears of suffering inherent in it burn within for a long time without the blameless practice (yukti).
