सर्गादनन्तरं बुद्धिः प्रवृत्ता परमेष्ठिनः ॥ ३ ॥

Shri Rama said: "O revered Brahman, how did the intellect (buddhi) of the venerable Lord (bhagavat), the Supreme Being (Parameṣṭhin), become engaged in the world for the manifestation of knowledge (jñāna), immediately after creation (sarga)?"
