इत्युक्तोऽहं गतो भद्रे शक्रस्याग्रे निवेदितुम ।
यथावृत्तं निवेद्याथ महदाश्चर्यतां गतः ॥ ४३ ॥

The messenger of the gods said: "O auspicious lady, thus addressed, I went before Śakra (Indra) to report. Having then reported the entire event as it occurred, I became greatly astonished."
