इति श्रुत्योर्द्वयोर्मध्ये किं कर्तव्यं मया गुरो ।
इति संदिग्धतां गत्वा तूष्णींभूतोऽस्मि कर्मणि ॥ १६ ॥

16. O Guru, what should be done by me, considering these two Vedic injunctions (Śruti)? Having thus fallen into a state of doubt, I have become silent regarding action (karma).
