कीर्यमाणः शरौघेण विसृष्टेन महात्मना ।
न प्रहर्तुं मनश्चक्रे विमुखीकृतविक्रमः ॥२६॥

26. Being overwhelmed by the multitude of arrows shot by the great-souled (Lakṣmaṇa), (Rāvaṇa), whose valor had been turned away, did not intend to strike back.
