सारथेश्चापि बाणेन शिरो ज्वलितकुण्डलम् ।
जहार लक्ष्मणः श्रीमान्नैरृतस्य महाबलः ॥१५॥

15. And the glorious, mighty Lakṣmaṇa also struck off, with an arrow, the charioteer's head, adorned with glittering earrings, which belonged to the rākṣasa.
