लग्नादष्टमगौ स्यातां चन्द्रार्कौ स्वर्क्षगौ तदा ।
बन्ध्याऽथ काकबन्ध्या चेदेवं चन्द्रबुधौ यदा ॥३८॥

38. lagnādaṣṭamagau syātāṃ candrārkau svarkṣagau tadā .
bandhyā'tha kākabandhyā cedevaṃ candrabudhau yadā.

38. lagnāt aṣṭamagau syātām candrārkau svarkṣagau tadā
bandhyā atha kākabandhyā cet evam candrabudhau yadā

38. When the Moon and the Sun are in the eighth house from the ascendant (lagna), and both are situated in their own signs, then the woman is barren (bandhyā). And if the Moon and Mercury are similarly placed, she is a 'crow-barren' woman (kākabandhyā).
