श्रूयतां द्विजशार्दूलाः कारणं येन कन्दरम् ।
विन्ध्यस्येहागतो रम्यं रेवावारिकणोक्षितम् ।
सन्देहान् भारते शास्त्रे तान् प्रष्टुं गतवानहम् ॥२२॥

Jaimini said: O foremost among the twice-born (dvijaśārdūlāḥ), listen to the reason why I have come here to the beautiful cave (kandaram) of the Vindhya mountains, moistened by the spray of the Revā river's water. I had doubts (sandehān) regarding the treatise (śāstre) on Bharata (the Mahābhārata), and I came here to ask about them.
