ते तां दृष्ट्वाग्रतो दैत्याः साभिलाषा मनोभवम् ।
न शेसुरुद्धतं धैर्यान्मनसा वोढुमातुराः ॥४१॥

41. te tāṃ dṛṣṭvāgrato daityāḥ sābhilāṣā manobhavam .
na śesuruddhataṃ dhairyānmanasā voḍhumāturāḥ.

When the demons saw her before them, they were filled with such intense desire (manobhavam) that, agitated, they lost their composure and could not mentally endure that overwhelming longing.
