मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-18, verse-11

यद्येवं कर्तुकामस्त्वं राज्यं सम्यक् प्रशासितुम् ।
ततो शृणुष्व मे वाक्यं कुरुष्व च नृपात्मज ॥११॥
11. yadyevaṃ kartukāmastvaṃ rājyaṃ samyak praśāsitum .
tato śṛṇuṣva me vākyaṃ kuruṣva ca nṛpātmaja.
11. yadi evam kartu-kāmaḥ tvam rājyam samyak praśāsitum
tataḥ śṛṇuṣva me vākyam kuruṣva ca nṛpa-ātmaja
11. O son of the king, if you wish to govern the kingdom properly in this manner, then listen to my words and act accordingly.
