मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-18, verse-39

वामपार्श्वस्थितामिष्टामशेषजगतां शुभाम् ।
भार्याञ्चास्य सुचार्वङ्गीं लक्ष्मीमिन्दुनिभाननाम् ॥३९॥
39. vāmapārśvasthitāmiṣṭāmaśeṣajagatāṃ śubhām .
bhāryāñcāsya sucārvaṅgīṃ lakṣmīmindunibhānanām.
39. vāmapārśvasthitām iṣṭām aśeṣajagatām śubhām | bhāryām
ca asya su-cārv-aṅgīm lakṣmīm indu-nibha-ānanām
39. And on his left side, they saw his beloved wife, Lakṣmī, who was situated there, auspicious to all worlds, exquisitely beautiful of limb, and with a face resembling the moon.
