मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-18, verse-26

देवा ऊचुः ।
दानवैर्मुनिशार्दूल जम्भाद्यैर्भूर्भुवादिकम् ।
हृतं तैलोक्यमाक्रम्य क्रतुभागाश्च कृत्स्नशः ॥२६॥
26. devā ūcuḥ .
dānavairmuniśārdūla jambhādyairbhūrbhuvādikam .
hṛtaṃ tailokyamākramya kratubhāgāśca kṛtsnaśaḥ.
26. devāḥ ūcuḥ dānavaiḥ muniśārdūla jambhādyaiḥ bhūrbhuvādikam
hṛtam trailokyam ākramya kratubhāgāḥ ca kṛtsnaśaḥ
26. The gods said, "O best of sages (muni)! The Dānavas (demons), led by Jambha and others, have seized the three worlds – Bhūḥ, Bhuvaḥ, and so forth – and have completely taken all shares of the sacrifices (kratu)."
