तेषाञ्च युध्यमानानां दिव्यः संवत्सरो गतः ।
ततो देवाः पराभूता दैत्या विजयिनोऽभवन् ॥१७॥

While they were fighting, a divine year passed. After that, the gods were defeated, and the Daityas became victorious.
