महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-82, verse-53

रक्षां कृत्वात्मनः शूरा न्यस्य गुल्मान्यथाविधि ।
अपनीय च शल्यांस्ते स्नात्वा च विविधैर्जलैः ॥५३॥
53. rakṣāṁ kṛtvātmanaḥ śūrā nyasya gulmānyathāvidhi ,
apanīya ca śalyāṁste snātvā ca vividhairjalaiḥ.

apanīya ca śalyān te snātvā ca vividhaiḥ jalaiḥ

53. The brave warriors, having protected themselves, stationed their guards according to the prescribed rules, and after removing their arrows and spears (from their bodies), bathed in various waters.
