महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-164, verse-48

मृगद्विजाश्च बहवो रुचिरा मधुरस्वराः ।
विमानयायिनश्चात्र दृश्यन्ते बहवोऽमराः ॥४८॥
48. mṛgadvijāśca bahavo rucirā madhurasvarāḥ ,
vimānayāyinaścātra dṛśyante bahavo'marāḥ.
48. mṛgadvijāḥ ca bahavaḥ rucirāḥ madhurasvarāḥ
vimānayāyinaḥ ca atra dṛśyante bahavaḥ amarāḥ
48. Many beautiful animals and birds with sweet voices were there. And here, many immortals (amarāḥ) traveling in celestial chariots (vimāna) were seen.
