महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-164, verse-25

इन्द्र उवाच ।
क्रूरं कर्मास्त्रवित्तात करिष्यसि परंतप ।
यदर्थमस्त्राणीप्सुस्त्वं तं कामं पाण्डवाप्नुहि ॥२५॥
25. indra uvāca ,
krūraṁ karmāstravittāta kariṣyasi paraṁtapa ,
yadarthamastrāṇīpsustvaṁ taṁ kāmaṁ pāṇḍavāpnuhi.
25. indraḥ uvāca krūram karma astravit tāta kariṣyasi paraṃtapa
yat artham astrāṇi īpsuḥ tvam tam kāmam pāṇḍava āpnuhi
25. Indra said, "O knower of weapons, O tormentor of foes, dear one, you will perform a cruel action (karma). O Pāṇḍava, attain that very desire for which you are eager to acquire these weapons."
