महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-158, verse-51

वैश्रवण उवाच ।
देवतानामभून्मन्त्रः कुशवत्यां नरेश्वर ।
वृतस्तत्राहमगमं महापद्मशतैस्त्रिभिः ।
यक्षाणां घोररूपाणां विविधायुधधारिणाम् ॥५१॥
51. vaiśravaṇa uvāca ,
devatānāmabhūnmantraḥ kuśavatyāṁ nareśvara ,
vṛtastatrāhamagamaṁ mahāpadmaśataistribhiḥ ,
yakṣāṇāṁ ghorarūpāṇāṁ vividhāyudhadhāriṇām.
51. vaiśravaṇa uvāca devatānām abhūt mantraḥ
kuśavatyām nareśvara vṛtaḥ tatra aham
agamam mahāpadmaśataiḥ tribhiḥ yakṣāṇām
ghorarūpāṇām vividhāyudhadhāriṇām
51. Vaiśravaṇa said: 'O king of men, the gods held a secret counsel in Kuśavatī. Invited to it, I went there with three hundred `mahāpadmas` of frightful Yakṣas who bore various weapons.'
