49. yudhiṣṭhira uvāca ,
kathaṁ śapto'si bhagavannagastyena mahātmanā ,
śrotumicchāmyahaṁ deva tavaitacchāpakāraṇam.

Yudhiṣṭhira said, "O revered one (bhagavan), how were you cursed by the magnanimous (mahātmanā) Agastya? O divine one, I wish to hear the reason for this curse upon you."
