महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-158, verse-46

मामनादृत्य देवांश्च विनाशं यक्षरक्षसाम् ।
स्वबाहुबलमाश्रित्य तेनाहं प्रीतिमांस्त्वयि ।
शापादस्मि विनिर्मुक्तो घोरादद्य वृकोदर ॥४६॥
46. māmanādṛtya devāṁśca vināśaṁ yakṣarakṣasām ,
svabāhubalamāśritya tenāhaṁ prītimāṁstvayi ,
śāpādasmi vinirmukto ghorādadya vṛkodara.

yakṣarakṣasām sva-bāhu-balam āśritya
tena aham prītimān tvayi śāpāt
asmi vinirmuktaḥ ghorāt adya vṛkodara
46. O Bhīma (Vṛkodara), since you disregarded me and the gods, relying solely on the strength of your own arms for the destruction of the yakṣas and rākṣasas, I am pleased with you. Consequently, I am now freed from a terrible curse.
