अर्थधर्मावनादृत्य यः पापे कुरुते मनः ।
कर्मणां पार्थ पापानां स फलं विन्दते ध्रुवम् ।
पुनरेवं न कर्तव्यं मम चेदिच्छसि प्रियम् ॥१२॥
कर्मणां पार्थ पापानां स फलं विन्दते ध्रुवम् ।
पुनरेवं न कर्तव्यं मम चेदिच्छसि प्रियम् ॥१२॥
12. arthadharmāvanādṛtya yaḥ pāpe kurute manaḥ ,
karmaṇāṁ pārtha pāpānāṁ sa phalaṁ vindate dhruvam ,
punarevaṁ na kartavyaṁ mama cedicchasi priyam.

O Pārtha, whoever disregards material prosperity and natural law (dharma) and sets his mind on sin, he surely obtains the consequences of those sinful actions. If you wish for what is dear to me, you must not do this again.
