महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-51, verse-40

अयं चिरोषितो राजन्वासुदेवः प्रतापवान् ।
भवन्तं समनुज्ञाप्य पितरं द्रष्टुमिच्छति ॥४०॥
40. ayaṁ ciroṣito rājanvāsudevaḥ pratāpavān ,
bhavantaṁ samanujñāpya pitaraṁ draṣṭumicchati.

40. O King, this glorious (pratāpavān) Vāsudeva, who has resided here for a long time, desires to see his father after obtaining your permission.
