महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-133, verse-49

परदारेषु ये मूढाश्चक्षुर्दुष्टं प्रयुञ्जते ।
तेन दुष्टस्वभावेन जात्यन्धास्ते भवन्ति ह ॥४९॥
49. paradāreṣu ye mūḍhāścakṣurduṣṭaṁ prayuñjate ,
tena duṣṭasvabhāvena jātyandhāste bhavanti ha.

49. Those deluded individuals who cast an evil eye upon others' wives, due to that corrupt nature, they are indeed born blind.
