महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-133, verse-21

संमान्यांश्चावमन्यन्ते वृद्धान्परिभवन्ति च ।
एवंविधा नरा देवि सर्वे निरयगामिनः ॥२१॥
21. saṁmānyāṁścāvamanyante vṛddhānparibhavanti ca ,
evaṁvidhā narā devi sarve nirayagāminaḥ.
21. saṃmānyān ca avamanyante vṛddhān paribhavanti
ca evaṃvidhāḥ narāḥ devi sarve nirayagāminaḥ
21. And they disrespect those worthy of honor, and they insult the elders. O Goddess, all such people are destined for hell.
