महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-133, verse-48

स चेन्मानुषतां याति मेधावी तत्र जायते ।
श्रुतं प्रज्ञानुगं चास्य कल्याणमुपजायते ॥४८॥
48. sa cenmānuṣatāṁ yāti medhāvī tatra jāyate ,
śrutaṁ prajñānugaṁ cāsya kalyāṇamupajāyate.
48. sa cet mānuṣatām yāti medhāvī tatra jāyate
śrutam prajñānugam ca asya kalyāṇam upajāyate
48. sa cet mānuṣatām yāti tatra medhāvī jāyate
asya śrutam prajñānugam ca kalyāṇam upajāyate
48. If he attains human birth, he is born intelligent in that state. His knowledge becomes accompanied by wisdom, and welfare arises for him.
