महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-133, verse-13

अप्रवृत्तास्तु ये लुब्धा नास्तिका दानवर्जिताः ।
एवंभूता नरा देवि निरयं यान्त्यबुद्धयः ॥१३॥
13. apravṛttāstu ye lubdhā nāstikā dānavarjitāḥ ,
evaṁbhūtā narā devi nirayaṁ yāntyabuddhayaḥ.
13. apravṛttāḥ tu ye lubdhāḥ nāstikāḥ dāna-varjitāḥ
evaṃ-bhūtāḥ narāḥ devi nirayam yānti abuddhayaḥ
13. devi ye apravṛttāḥ lubdhāḥ nāstikāḥ dāna-varjitāḥ
evaṃ-bhūtāḥ abuddhayaḥ narāḥ tu nirayam yānti
13. But those who are ungenerous, greedy, disbelievers (nāstikāḥ), and devoid of charity – such foolish people, O Goddess, go to hell.
