devi ye apravṛttāḥ lubdhāḥ nāstikāḥ dāna-varjitāḥ
evaṃ-bhūtāḥ abuddhayaḥ narāḥ tu nirayam yānti
evaṃ-bhūtāḥ abuddhayaḥ narāḥ tu nirayam yānti
13.
But those who are ungenerous, greedy, disbelievers (nāstikāḥ), and devoid of charity – such foolish people, O Goddess, go to hell.
