महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-68, verse-33

धर्ममेव प्रपद्यन्ते न हिंसन्ति परस्परम् ।
अनुगृह्णन्ति चान्योन्यं यदा रक्षति भूमिपः ॥३३॥

33. dharmameva prapadyante na hiṁsanti parasparam ,
anugṛhṇanti cānyonyaṁ yadā rakṣati bhūmipaḥ.

anugṛhṇanti ca anyonyam yadā rakṣati bhūmipaḥ

33. yadā bhūmipaḥ rakṣati,

33. When the ruler (bhūmipaḥ) provides protection, people adhere strictly to the natural law (dharma), do not harm each other, and furthermore, show mutual favor and support.
