वैशंपायन उवाच ।
सुरापानाद्वञ्चनां प्रापयित्वा संज्ञानाशं चैव तथातिघोरम् ।
दृष्ट्वा कचं चापि तथाभिरूपं पीतं तदा सुरया मोहितेन ॥५२॥

52. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
surāpānādvañcanāṁ prāpayitvā; saṁjñānāśaṁ caiva tathātighoram ,
dṛṣṭvā kacaṁ cāpi tathābhirūpaṁ; pītaṁ tadā surayā mohitena.

52. Vaiśampāyana said: After Kaca was made to suffer deception and an extremely terrible loss of consciousness due to wine-drinking, and after the very handsome Kaca was seen at that time, having drunk wine and become bewildered by it...

52. וַישַׁמְפָּאיַנַה אמר, כשראה שׁוּקְרַה את קַצ׳ַה היפה, שנשתה אז על ידו כשהיה מבולבל מהמשקה החריף, ואת הרמאות הנוראה שנגרמה בשתיית המשקה, ואת אובדן החושים הנורא,
