महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-71, verse-27

ततो गावो निवृत्तास्ता अगोपाः स्वं निवेशनम् ।
ता दृष्ट्वा रहिता गास्तु कचेनाभ्यागता वनात् ।
उवाच वचनं काले देवयान्यथ भारत ॥२७॥
27. tato gāvo nivṛttāstā agopāḥ svaṁ niveśanam ,
tā dṛṣṭvā rahitā gāstu kacenābhyāgatā vanāt ,
uvāca vacanaṁ kāle devayānyatha bhārata.
27. tataḥ gāvaḥ nivṛttāḥ tāḥ agopāḥ svam
niveśanam tāḥ dṛṣṭvā rahitāḥ gāḥ
tu kacena abhyāgatāḥ vanāt uvāca
vacanam kāle devayānī atha bhārata
27. Then those cows, without a cowherd, returned to their own stable. Seeing those cows that had returned from the forest without Kach, Devayani then spoke words at the appropriate time, O Bharata.
