महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-71, verse-5

सुराणामसुराणां च समजायत वै मिथः ।
ऐश्वर्यं प्रति संघर्षस्त्रैलोक्ये सचराचरे ॥५॥
5. surāṇāmasurāṇāṁ ca samajāyata vai mithaḥ ,
aiśvaryaṁ prati saṁgharṣastrailokye sacarācare.

5. Indeed, a mutual conflict arose between the gods and the asuras over supremacy in the three worlds, which include all moving and non-moving beings.
