From excessive attachment (samāsaṅga) to worldly things, a criticism of enjoyments (bhoga-vigarhaṇā) arises among them. Following this comes deliberation (vicāra), then knowledge (jñāna), and the compilation of scriptural meanings (śāstrārtha-saṅgraha).
