योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-24, verse-34

संज्ञार्थं रूढनियतिशब्दः स्फुरति सानुवत् ।
तस्माद्यावन्मनस्तावन्न दैवं नियतिर्न च ॥ ३४ ॥

34. The conventional term 'destiny' (niyati) manifests prominently, like a mountain. Therefore, as long as the mind exists, there is neither divine providence (daiva) nor predetermined fate (niyati).

34. המילה גורל קיימת רק לשם הגדרה מוסכמת, ומופיעה איתנה כמו פסגת הר. לכן, כל עוד קיימת החשיבה, אין באמת גורל ואין ייעוד נכפה.
