योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-14, verse-32

प्राण्यङ्गेष्वपि जायन्ते विचित्राः ककुभं प्रति ।
स्थावरेष्वपि जायन्ते घुणा जघनकादयः ॥ ३२ ॥
prāṇyaṅgeṣvapi jāyante vicitrāḥ kakubhaṃ prati ,
sthāvareṣvapi jāyante ghuṇā jaghanakādayaḥ 32

32. Various creatures are born in every direction, even within the bodies of living beings. Likewise, in immovable things (like plants and rocks), weevils, *jaghanaka* insects, and similar creatures come into existence.
