योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-36, verse-8

रथौघश्च रथौघेन निष्पिपेषाखिलं वपुः ।
नगरं नगरेणेव दैवेनोड्डीनमासुरम् ॥ ८ ॥
rathaughaśca rathaughena niṣpipeṣākhilaṃ vapuḥ ,
nagaraṃ nagareṇeva daivenoḍḍīnamāsuram 8
8. rathaughaḥ ca rathaughena niṣpipeṣa akhilaṃ
vapuḥ nagaram nagareṇa iva daivena udḍīnam āsuram
8. rathaughaḥ ca rathaughena akhilaṃ vapuḥ niṣpipeṣa,
iva daivena udḍīnam āsuram nagaram nagareṇa
8. And a multitude of chariots, by means of another host of chariots, completely crushed the entire [enemy] force, just as a demonic city, dispersed by divine power, is [overwhelmed] by another city.
