मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-35, verse-55

कुर्युः समस्ताः शुचिनः परत्रेह च भूतिदाः ।
अध्येतव्या त्रयी नित्यं भवितव्यं विपश्चिता ॥५५॥
55. kuryuḥ samastāḥ śucinaḥ paratreha ca bhūtidāḥ .
adhyetavyā trayī nityaṃ bhavitavyaṃ vipaścitā.
55. kuryuḥ samastāḥ śucinaḥ paratra iha ca bhūtidāḥ
adhyetavyā trayī nityam bhavitavyam vipaścitā
55. All of them, being pure, should perform (these actions), as they bestow prosperity both in this world and the next. The threefold Veda (trayī) should be studied constantly, and one should strive to be wise.
