मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-35, verse-10

सिद्धार्थकानां कल्केन तिलकल्केन वा पुनः ।
साम्बुना तात भवति उपघातवतां सदा ॥१०॥
10. siddhārthakānāṃ kalkena tilakalkena vā punaḥ .
sāmbunā tāta bhavati upaghātavatāṃ sadā.

10. Dear father, the purification of defiled things is always accomplished with water and a paste of white mustard seeds or a sesame paste.
