अमेध्याक्तस्य मृत्तोयैर्गन्धापहरणेन च ॥१८॥

And for bronze (kāṃsya) vessels, purification is achieved with ashes and water. For liquids, purification comes from immersion (plāva). Moreover, for anything stained with impurity, purification is [achieved] with earth and water, and by the removal of its smell.
