मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-35, verse-50

तत्रापि शुद्धिरुद्दिष्टा पूर्वजन्मवतो दिनैः ।
दशद्वादशमासार्ध-माससंख्यैर्दिनैर्गतैः ॥५०॥
50. tatrāpi śuddhiruddiṣṭā pūrvajanmavato dinaiḥ .
daśadvādaśamāsārdha-māsasaṃkhyairdinairgataiḥ.
50. tatra api śuddhiḥ uddiṣṭā pūrvajanmavataḥ dinaiḥ
| daśadvādaśamāsārdhamāsasaṃkhyaiḥ dinaiḥ gataiḥ
50. In that case (of successive births), purification is declared for the one associated with the previous birth (i.e., the family), by days that have passed, specifically ten, twelve, a half-month (fifteen days), or a full month, counted in terms of days.
