महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-23, verse-22

मूढांस्तु सर्वथा मन्ये धार्तराष्ट्रान्सुबालिशान् ।
पतिते शंतनोः पुत्रे येऽकार्षुः संयुगं पुनः ॥२२॥
22. mūḍhāṁstu sarvathā manye dhārtarāṣṭrānsubāliśān ,
patite śaṁtanoḥ putre ye'kārṣuḥ saṁyugaṁ punaḥ.
22. mūḍhān tu sarvathā manye dhārtarāṣṭrān subāliśān
patite śaṃtanoḥ putre ye akārṣuḥ saṃyugam punaḥ
22. tu dhārtarāṣṭrān sarvathā mūḍhān subāliśān manye,
ye śaṃtanoḥ putre patite punaḥ saṃyugam akārṣuḥ.
22. But I consider the sons of Dhritarashtra (Dhārtarāṣṭra) to be utterly foolish and exceedingly childish, for they waged battle (saṃyuga) again even after the son of Shantanu (Bhishma) had fallen.
