महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-10, verse-20

धृष्टद्युम्नं च शैनेयं शिखण्डिनमथापि च ।
एकैकं दशभिर्बाणैर्विव्याध च महाबलः ।
ततोऽसृजद्बाणवर्षं घर्मान्ते मघवानिव ॥२०॥
20. dhṛṣṭadyumnaṁ ca śaineyaṁ śikhaṇḍinamathāpi ca ,
ekaikaṁ daśabhirbāṇairvivyādha ca mahābalaḥ ,
tato'sṛjadbāṇavarṣaṁ gharmānte maghavāniva.

atha api ca ekaikam daśabhiḥ bāṇaiḥ
vivyādha ca mahābalaḥ tataḥ asṛjat

20. च महाबलः च धृष्टद्युम्नम् शैनेयम्
अथ अपि च शिखण्डिनम् एकैकम्
दशभिः बाणैः विव्याध ततः घर्मान्ते
मघवान् इव बाणवर्षम् असृजत्
20. And the mighty Śalya struck each of them – Dhṛṣṭadyumna, Śaineya, and also Śikhaṇḍin – with ten arrows. Then, like Indra at the end of the summer season, he released a torrent of arrows.
