महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-57, verse-8

राधेयोऽप्यन्यथा पार्थान्सृञ्जयांश्च महारथान् ।
निःशेषान्समरे कुर्यात्पश्यतोर्नौ जनार्दन ॥८॥
8. rādheyo'pyanyathā pārthānsṛñjayāṁśca mahārathān ,
niḥśeṣānsamare kuryātpaśyatornau janārdana.
8. rādheyaḥ api anyathā pārthān sṛñjayān ca mahārathān
niḥśeṣān samare kuryāt paśyatoḥ nau janārdana
8. janārdana,
anyathā rādheyaḥ api nau paśyatoḥ pārthān ca mahārathān sṛñjayān [ca] samare niḥśeṣān kuryāt.
8. O Janardana, otherwise, while we two are watching, the son of Radha (Karna) would utterly annihilate the Pandavas and the great warrior Srnjayas in battle.
