जयेप्सवः स्वर्गमनाय चोत्सुकाः पतन्ति नागाश्वरथाः परंतप ।

jagarjuruccairbalavacca vivyadhuḥ; śaraiḥ sumuktairitaretaraṁ pṛthak.

68. paraṃtapa! jayeṣavaḥ ca svargamanāya utsukāḥ nāgāśvarathāḥ patanti.

68. O scorcher of foes, desirous of victory and eager for attaining heaven, elephants, horses, and chariots fall. They roared loudly and powerfully, and pierced each other repeatedly with well-shot arrows.
