गृह्णात्यनेकानपि कङ्कपत्रानेकं यथा तान्क्षितिपान्प्रमथ्य ।
ते क्रोशमात्रं निपतन्त्यमोघाः कस्तेन योधोऽस्ति समः पृथिव्याम् ॥४०॥

40. gṛhṇātyanekānapi kaṅkapatrā;nekaṁ yathā tānkṣitipānpramathya ,
te krośamātraṁ nipatantyamoghāḥ; kastena yodho'sti samaḥ pṛthivyām.

40. yathā ekaṃ kaṅkapatrān anekān api gṛhṇāti,
tān kṣitipān pramathya,
amoghāḥ te krośamātraṃ nipatanti,
pṛthivyām tena samaḥ kaḥ yodhaḥ asti

40. Just as he seizes even many arrows at once, and after crushing those kings, his infallible ones fall within the range of a krosa, who on earth is a warrior equal to him?
