महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-97, verse-47

शैनेयं स तु निर्भिद्य प्राविशद्धरणीतलम् ।
वसन्तकाले बलवान्बिलं सर्पशिशुर्यथा ॥४७॥
47. śaineyaṁ sa tu nirbhidya prāviśaddharaṇītalam ,
vasantakāle balavānbilaṁ sarpaśiśuryathā.

vasantakāle balavān bilam sarpaśiśuḥ yathā
47. tu sa śaineyam nirbhidya dharaṇītalam prāviśat
yathā balavān sarpaśiśuḥ vasantakāle bilam
47. But he, having pierced Śaineya (Sātyaki), entered the surface of the earth, just as a powerful young serpent enters its hole during the spring season.
