महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-97, verse-43

तस्य द्रोणसुतश्चापं द्विधा चिच्छेद भारत ।
अथैनं छिन्नधन्वानं ताडयामास सायकैः ॥४३॥
43. tasya droṇasutaścāpaṁ dvidhā ciccheda bhārata ,
athainaṁ chinnadhanvānaṁ tāḍayāmāsa sāyakaiḥ.

atha enam chinna-dhanvānam tāḍayām āsa sāyakaiḥ
43. Bhārata Droṇa-sutaḥ tasya cāpam dvidhā ciccheda
atha enam chinna-dhanvānam sāyakaiḥ tāḍayām āsa
43. O Bhārata, the son of Droṇa (Drauṇi) cut his (Sātyaki's) bow into two. Then, Drauṇi struck him, who was now without a bow, with arrows.
