महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-97, verse-15

ते तस्य विविशुस्तूर्णं कायं निर्भिद्य मर्मणि ।
स तैर्विभिन्नसर्वाङ्गः शुशुभे राक्षसोत्तमः ।
पुष्पितैः किंशुकै राजन्संस्तीर्ण इव पर्वतः ॥१५॥
15. te tasya viviśustūrṇaṁ kāyaṁ nirbhidya marmaṇi ,
sa tairvibhinnasarvāṅgaḥ śuśubhe rākṣasottamaḥ ,
puṣpitaiḥ kiṁśukai rājansaṁstīrṇa iva parvataḥ.

marmaṇi saḥ taiḥ vibhinnasarvāṅgaḥ
śuśubhe rākṣasottamaḥ puṣpitaiḥ

15. rājan te tasya kāyaṃ marmaṇi nirbhidya
tūrṇaṃ viviśuḥ taiḥ vibhinnasarvāṅgaḥ
saḥ rākṣasottamaḥ puṣpitaiḥ
kiṃśukaiḥ saṃstīrṇaḥ iva parvataḥ
15. O King, those arrows quickly entered his body, piercing his vital spots. He, the best of demons, with his entire body pierced by them, shone like a mountain covered with blossoming palāśa (kiṃśuka) trees.
