महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-219, verse-53

यस्य दोषैः प्रकुपितं चित्तं मुह्यति देहिनः ।
उन्माद्यति स तु क्षिप्रं साधनं तस्य शास्त्रतः ॥५३॥
53. yasya doṣaiḥ prakupitaṁ cittaṁ muhyati dehinaḥ ,
unmādyati sa tu kṣipraṁ sādhanaṁ tasya śāstrataḥ.

53. When the mind of an embodied being becomes greatly agitated and deluded by certain flaws, he quickly goes mad. The remedy for that condition is to be found in the scriptures.
