महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-219, verse-34

पादपानां च या माता करञ्जनिलया हि सा ।
करञ्जे तां नमस्यन्ति तस्मात्पुत्रार्थिनो नराः ॥३४॥
34. pādapānāṁ ca yā mātā karañjanilayā hi sā ,
karañje tāṁ namasyanti tasmātputrārthino narāḥ.
34. pādapānām ca yā mātā karañjanilayā hi sā |
karañje tām namasyanti tasmāt putrārthinaḥ narāḥ
34. And indeed, she who is the mother of trees resides in the Karañja tree. For this reason, men desiring sons worship her there in the Karañja tree.
