महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-219, verse-16

मातर ऊचुः ।
यास्तु ता मातरः पूर्वं लोकस्यास्य प्रकल्पिताः ।
अस्माकं तद्भवेत्स्थानं तासां चैव न तद्भवेत् ॥१६॥
16. mātara ūcuḥ ,
yāstu tā mātaraḥ pūrvaṁ lokasyāsya prakalpitāḥ ,
asmākaṁ tadbhavetsthānaṁ tāsāṁ caiva na tadbhavet.
16. mātaraḥ ūcuḥ yāḥ tu tāḥ mātaraḥ pūrvam lokasya asya prakalpitāḥ
asmākam tat bhavet sthānam tāsām ca eva na tat bhavet
16. The Mothers said: "Indeed, those mothers who were previously ordained for this world (loka)—that position should belong to us, and it should no longer be theirs."
