कष्टा दारुणरूपेण घोररूपा निशाचरी ।
पिशाची दारुणाकारा कथ्यते शीतपूतना ।
गर्भान्सा मानुषीणां तु हरते घोरदर्शना ॥२७॥

27. She is called Śītapūtanā, a dreadful and terrible-looking night-demoness (nishaacarii), a dreadful-shaped fiend (pishaacī). Indeed, she, terrible to behold, snatches away the fetuses of human women.

27. יצור לילה נורא, אכזרי ובעל צורה מחרידה, פִּישָׁאצ׳ִי (פיצה רעה מזנקת בחושך) בעלת מראה מפחיד, נקראת שִׁיטַפּוּטַנָה. היא לוקחת עוברים מנשים, וחזותה אימתנית.
